Limited trip capacity available April 9-10

Ride to Care anticipates there will be limited trip capacity on Tuesday, April 9, and Wednesday, April 10, as some drivers take those days off to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. Please consider using another type of transportation, such as requesting bus fare or mileage reimbursement.

If you are able to reschedule non-urgent appointments, please reschedule to a day other than April 9 or 10.

If you are unable to reschedule, and you have a vehicle-provided ride, trips may be delayed. Please remember:

  • Notify your healthcare providers that scheduled trips on those days may be delayed.

  • Be patient with Ride to Care staff and drivers.

  • Call Ride to Care about any trip issues and let them know if your driver hasn’t arrived .

Ride to Care is doing everything possible to avoid having to cancel trips. However, if capacity is severely limited, non-urgent trips may need to be canceled. If you have questions regarding your ride, call 855-321-4899 and speak to a Ride to Care representative.

PLEASE NOTE: Some Ride to Care drivers will be celebrating the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic lunar calendar. Ramadan is a period of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. Muslims worldwide observe fasting from dawn to sunset, refraining from food, drink, and other physical needs, focusing instead on spiritual growth, self-discipline and empathy for the less fortunate. The month concludes with Eid al-Fitr, a joyous three-day celebration. Families come together for special prayers, feasting, exchanging gifts, and extending charity to those in need. Eid al-Fitr exemplifies the values of gratitude, compassion, and unity, uniting Muslims in a shared expression of faith and goodwill.
